The Information Counter provides information for citizens to become involved in international exchange activities, information to enable foreign residents to live comfortably in Japan and guidance in foreign languages with cooperation of volunteers. “Information Counter for Foreign Residents” provided by Osaka City are also available to assist foreign residents.
Multilingual Consultation at the Information Counter for Foreign Residents
To help foreigners live at ease, the Osaka International House Foundation offers consultation in various languages (English, Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, Filipino and Japanese) on administrative matters, residential status (visa), labor, medical treatment, welfare, education and others, provide information with regards to daily life and introduce institutions that give professional advice on certain fields.
We respond to telephone, e-mail or consultations in person.
* For the other 80 languages, machine translation is available at the counter.
