Connecting with the World through Meals: Exploring Children’s Cafeterias and Multicultural Coexistence with JICA International Students
JICA is collaborating with an authorized NPO, the National Children’s Cafeteria Support Center Musubie, to dispatch JICA students to local children’s cafeterias (JICA press release available in Japanese only).
In the first half of the event, JICA international students will present what they learned through activities at children’s cafeterias. In the second half, international students and support groups will discuss ideas for creating multicultural communities, think about what we can do, and exchange ideas.
We will have students from Brazil, Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Ghana, Benin, Republic of Côte d’Ivoire (Ivory Coast), and Ghana. Interpreters will be present, so please feel free to talk with them.
Sign up if you are interested in learning about children’s cafeterias and international exchange!
