About Osaka International House Foundation

Osaka International House Foundation (i-house) promotes mutual understanding and friendship among citizens in Osaka and the whole of Kansai by conducting international exchange/cooperation activities and support of foreigners, as well as promoting these activities led by citizens and providing a venue for activities that contribute to the promotion of internationalization.

Moreover, by contributing to the realization of a society where people of different cultures and values can live safely and play a role in society, we contribute to the development of Japan and the international community.

Licenses · Was granted permission for the foundation of International House, Osaka by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on February 23, 1987.
· Was authorized as a regional international association in Osaka by the Ministry of Home Affairs on January 23, 1990.
· Was authorized as a “Designated Public-Service Promotion Corporation” by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on April 28, 1993.
· Authorized as a “Public Interest Incorporated Association” by Cabinet Office, as of March 23, 2012.
