The Information Center serves as an International Exchange Information hub for city residents, including foreign residents, gathering and providing information and materials related to interculturality, international exchange and cooperation, international student support, etc. There are convenient services that is available to everyone. You can view books and videos in various fields, read foreign newspapers and magazines, and there is an information board where you can personally deepen exchange with other people.
Library and Information on International Exchange
The Information Center collects and displays information, books, and video materials related to interculturality, international exchange and cooperation, international student support, especially on support for foreigners regarding living in Japan, Japanese language studies, understanding culture, promotion of international understanding for citizens and information on international exchange activities of volunteers, NGOs and NPOs. ※ Reference only.
Overseas Newspapers and Magazines
Visitors are free to browse various newspapers and magazines (Japanese, other) from overseas.
Catalogue Stand
Brochures from various organizations regarding overseas exchange programs and Japanese study are on display in the catalogue stand.
Information Exchange Board
The Information Exchange board is available free of charge to advertise for language and culture exchange, employment and housing information.
