We are looking for foreigners to introduce the culture of their country!

Osaka International House Foundation will be holding an event on Saturday, August 3rd where foreigners can interact while introducing local culture. Introduce your country’s culture such as language, food, games, dance, music and drama, etc.
The volunteers will support your program!

For instance;
・The first foreign language (Nepali, Mongolian and Nepali, Mongolian or Polish etc.)
・Introduction of dance, yoga, traditional local culture or clothes, etc.
・Introduction of child plays, local songs, nursery songs, or story telling of picture books
・Demonstration of local foods, or drink tastings

■Event overview
・Date: Saturday, August 3rd, 2024 11: 00-16: 30 (expected)
・Venue: Osaka International House, 2nd floor conference rooms
8-2-6 Uehonmachi, Tennoji-ku Osaka-shi 543-0001

■Remuneration: Per program
・For Workshop Seminar (WS) Program: 5,600 yen
→ Less than 1 hour (about 45 minutes) program such as cultural introduction.
・For Performance (PF) program:   9,000 yen
→ Limited to performance program of about 15 ～ 20 minutes  ※ Only performance program such as dance or traditional music play shall be acceptable.
・In case of many entries, we may not be able to accommodate your request.
・Material costs will be paid. (There is an upper limit)

■Qualification
・Foreigners whose purpose is cultural exchange
・People who can communicate in Japanese
・Those who can participate in pre-meetings and rehearsals
・Those who may post a face photo, video, or name on a public relations site or leaflet
・ Those who can participate in below-mentioned orientation & matching days and the day of event itself

■Orientation & matching with volunteer supporters
* For those who join in the event for the first time, please be sure to participate in both preliminary meetings mentioned below.
・Orientation for performers: Saturday, May 18th, 13: 30 – 15: 00
・Volunteer Information Session & Matching Schedule: Saturday, June 1st, 13: 30 – 15: 00
・Venue: International House, Osaka 2nd floor Conference Rooms
